We want to share a few incredible resources doing critical, boots-on-the-ground work — and how you can help. 🐾 Community Veterinary Access Through a partnership with veterinary professionals, Community Veterinary Access is ensuring that pets stay healthy and with the families who love them. They are providing: Core vaccines and spay/neuter services Urgent and sick care for pets whose owners cannot leave their homes or have experienced lost wages Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVIs) for families relocating internationally who want to keep their pets with them Access to veterinary care can be the difference between keeping a beloved pet and facing heartbreaking decisions. This program exists to remove barriers and keep families together. Support includes: Respite foster care Humane surrender options Emergency boarding through partnerships with local facilities A rapidly growing foster network (over 140 new foster applications in recent days!) My Pit Bull is Family’s Mutual Aid program works to support both ends of the leash — ensuring families don’t have to choose between feeding themselves and caring for the animals they love. By providing groceries, pet food, and access to veterinary care, they help keep families together during times of financial strain and uncertainty. When immigrant and working families face sudden legal, financial, or housing instability, the ripple effects impact every member of the household — including four-legged ones.
